The U.S. Department of Education has recognized Niles Township High Schools for Excellence in Education. Most recently, the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts singled out Niles Township High Schools as having the Number 1 arts education program in the nation.

Oakton Community College (OCC)

The OCC Ray Hartstein Campus is located in 7701 North Lincoln Avenue, Skokie and offers a variety of day, evening, and weekend courses as well as online classes through the teleconferencing and distance learning center.

National Louis University (NLU)

NLU North Shore at Skokie opened in 2006 as a state-of-the-art modern campus boasting 44 wireless classrooms equipped with high-tech media equipment, four computer labs and a walk-in lab in the library. It is located at 5202 Old Orchard Road.

Everest College

Everest College Skokie campus offers degrees in the healthcare field, while also offering online degrees in many other subjects. It is located at 9811 Woods Drive, 2nd Floor.

Hebrew Theological College
