Mission

The Village of Skokie Farmers’ Market mission is to provide a platform to bring nutrient dense produce to all members of the community, while supporting local farmers and the local economy in Skokie.

Regional Farmers

Skokie's famous, fabulous, fantastic Farmers' Market, celebrating more than a quarter century of operation, presents farmers and vendors from Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin.

Community Spirit

Farmers' Market continues to proudly boast of this community-spirited event and the freshness of its vegetables, fruits, cheeses and flowers, often picked just hours before being made available to customers.

We would like to thank North Shore University Hospitals and Link Up Illinois for their very generous grants for the Farmers’ Market and all of the SNAP customers.

The Skokie Farmers' Market is an event hosted by the Skokie Consumer Affairs Commission. As such, they set the rules, written or unwritten, in the area they control, the Village Hall parking lot. Petitioners, political campaigns, religious groups, etc., are not permitted to actively engage with patrons inside the Skokie Farmers’ Market.

These groups may collect signatures, hand out fliers, etc. on the public sidewalk outside the boundaries of the market.
