In order to minimize future damage, please bag and tie all refuse waste before placing it in the container. Periodically rinse both carts. Consider storing your containers in a garage or shed and placing it out on your scheduled collection day.
Items placed out for recycling should be washed and placed in the cart loose because bags tangle up the sorting machinery.
