June 29, 2022

A voicemail was received from a resident who wanted to commend Officer Chwojnicki.  The resident stated that Officer Chwojnicki handled a call for service and he was professional throughout their interaction.  The resident stated, "The police do not get enough recognition and wanted to make sure that Officer Chwojnicki is recognized for handling things the correct way."   

June 11, 2022

A complimentary voicemail was left by a citizen following a hit-and-run investigation.  The caller wanted to express gratitude toward Officer Vargas in the way he handled the incident.  The caller stated Officer Vargas was "So kind, thorough, and professional."  The caller said her interaction with Officer Vargas was wonderful and made what normally would be a stressful situation, very pleasant.

June 4, 2022

An email was received regarding Officer Martinez who took part in a neighborhood gathering.  Officer Martinez played the drums with members of the community and had positive interactions throughout the event.  People were observed dancing to Officer Martinez's music and having a great time. 

March 16, 2022

A complimentary phone call was received on behalf of Officer Hozner.  The caller stated Officer Hozner responded to a hit and run traffic accident and was "very thorough throughout the experience and treated his family and children with caring and thoughtfulness."  Officer Hozner also provided the stickers to the small children involved and it helped calm them after the accident.

February 18, 2022

A complimentary email was received on behalf of Officer Vazquez, who responded to the Weber Center to assist an individual who had locked their keys inside of their vehicle.  Officer Vazquez drove the individual home to retrieve an extra set of keys.  The individual stated Officer Vazquez "went above and beyond her duties to help someone in need and I am so thankful."

January 12, 2022

A complimentary phone call was received on behalf of Community Service Officer Almeida.  The caller stated they were very impressed with Community Service Officer Almeida's demeanor and patience when dealing with an animal complaint.

January 5, 2022

A complimentary phone was received from a resident thanking Officer Panico and Officer Nazifi.  They responded to a mental health crisis at a residence.  The caller expressed her appreciation for the Officers taking their time and speaking with her daughter.  She also stated the Officers were professional and caring in helping deal with their family issues.
