The Skokie Fire Department provides Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to the community. Fire Department paramedics respond to more than 6,400 incidents each year. Three Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulances are staffed and available around the clock to provide life-saving treatment in medical and traumatic emergencies.
Continued Support
For 40 plus years, the Skokie Fire Department has provided Paramedic services. From the early days of station wagons to today's modular ALS Units, Skokie firefighters have continued to meet the needs of the community.
