With well-lit, conveniently located free parking lots for longer terms visits to Downtown Skokie and plenty of free on-street spaces, parking in Downtown Skokie is both convenient and easy to find. On-street parking spaces throughout the Downtown offer two hour time limits from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays.

Downtown Skokie Employee Parking
The Village maintains several off-street parking lots that offer free, designated parking for employees of Downtown Skokie merchants. Employees must display hangtags on their rearview mirror to avoid citations for parking in these lots.
Applying
Employers must apply for the free hang tags on behalf of their employees at the Village of Skokie Finance Department located at Skokie Village Hall, 5127 Oakton Street. Please note, the hang tags authorize access to park in the lots designated for Downtown Skokie employees, but do not guarantee that spaces will be available. Parking in these lots is available on a first come first served basis.
