Consumer Affairs Commission

About

The Consumer Affairs Commission coordinates consumer activities within the Village, including educational forums and the Farmers' Market. The Commission is an advisory body that prepares reports for the Village Board and makes recommendations on ordinances, regulations and methods of enforcement related to consumer affairs. All recommendations are presented to the Mayor and the Board of Trustees. The Commission sponsors the Business of the Year Award. Each Commissioner serves a four-year term.

The 2023 Skokie Business of the Year award will be announced at the Village Board meeting on November 20, 2023.
