The Skokie Fire Department offers this 8-week program for residents and employees of businesses in the Village of Skokie as part of our public education program. The Citizens Fire Academy (CFA) provides classroom instruction as well as hands-on exercises that are meant to develop a better understanding of the fire department and its operations.

The Skokie Citizens Fire Academy is free and is available to those who live or work in Skokie. Participants must be 18 years or older.
