Skokie residents and organizations are invited to attend and participate in public hearings for each CDBG program year. The hearings are typically conducted at the end of regular Village Board of Trustees meetings in December, January, February, and March of each year. Public hearings are mandated by HUD regulations to receive public input and determine the Village of Skokie's funding requests. Applications for each CDBG program year are available in November, and proposals are due in December.
